I felt her breathe
Across my skin
In gentle undertones.
She pressed her
Lips
Against a broken soul
Into damaged wrists
And fragile bones.
With a kiss,
She shaped my body
Beneath quiet, loving hands
With soft words in whisper
She tells me
She'll never understand.
